As of Friday, September 5th, 2008, the Langan Funeral Home is pleased to announce the purchase of the Robert A. Guffin Funeral Home of 108 Chapel Street, Cobleskill.  The Langan Funeral Home is fortunate to have been successful in acquiring this historic building in the village of Cobleskill.  We will strive to carry on the traditions and quality service that Mr. Robert Guffin has provided the greater Cobleskill area since 1963.  The untimely death of Mr. Guffin and, most recently his wife, Betty in November of 2007 prompted this purchase.  As we look to the future of serving a greater area than before, we are committed to providing quality funeral service with respect and dignity.
