Middleburgh: Alice A. Costello 78, of Pine Street Middleburgh, NY died Monday, March 8, 2010 at the Cobleskill Regional Hospital after a brief illness.
Alice was born March 28, 1931 in Queens, NYC, NY a daughter of Gordon John Lindner and Barbara (Siefert) Lindner. She was educated in New York City Public Schools and lived most of her life in Queens. She moved to Middleburgh in 2001.
She married Eugene Costello on November 20, 1986 and predeceased her in 1996.
Her family includes: three daughters Barbara Sclafani of Florida, Susan Tripler of Queens and Ann Ford of Middleburgh, two sons John Ford of Middleburgh and Edward Costello, four sisters Viola O'Toole of Florida, Ann Haddock of Florida, Laurel Stauffer of Catskill and Mary Stewart who predeceased Alice earlier in the day on Monday, Marh 8th, 2010, eight grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.
A prayer service will be offered on Tuesday, March 9th at 3PM at the Langan Funeral Home, 327 Main Street, Schoharie. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 1PM to 3PM at the funeral home. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
