Biography

Cobleskill (Schoharie County): Christine D. Negron 59, of North Grand Street died Wednesday, July 21st. at the Cobleskill Regional Hospital surrounded by her loving family.

Christine was born October 16, 1950 in Millbrook, New York a daughter of Clement Joseph and Flora (Vernon) Regan, Sr. Ms. Negron graduated from the Millbrook Central School. In the years following, she relocated to Schoharie County and became a longtime resident of Cobleskill. She worked for Ace Glove Shop in Richmondville as well as Eden Park Nursing Home, Cobleskill. Christine was most recently employed as a Home Health Aide at the former Crotched Mountain in Cobleskill. She enjoyed cooking, traveling, cartoon sketching, care giving, her family and her cat, precious.

Survivors include her longtime companion, Charles Cooper III, four sons Destiny (Jeannine) Negron of Richmondville, Ryan (Tanya) Negron of Abingdon, MD, Jason (Renee) Negron of Esperance, Paul Negron of Eden Prarie, MN, one daughter, Shannon Negron of Rocky Hill, CT, two brothers Clement Joseph Regan, Jr. of Virginia, Ronald Michael Regan of Florida, three sisters Patty Regan Wilson and Sally Regan Arrowood, both of South Carolina, Anna Regan Moxham of Stamford, nine grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Christine was predeceased by one daughter Jennifer Negron, one brother Michael Regan and one sister Elizabeth Regan Poe.

Calling Hours will be held from 9AM to 11AM on Saturday, July 24th at the Robert A. Guffin Funeral Home, 108 Chapel Street, Cobleskill, NY. A funeral service will follow at 11AM with Pastor Peter Schmid of the Lighthouse Fellowship Church, Howes Cave officiating. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.

Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Christine to Marathon for a Better Life, PO Box 167, Warnerville, NY 12187. The Robert A. Guffin Funeral Home of Cobleskill and the Langan Funeral Home of Schoharie and Central Bridge are assisting the family with arrangements.
